Hey, my name is ALEXIS ADELLE BOONE but everyone calls me LEXI OR BOONE. Some people say I look like, DIANNA AGRON, but I'm not sure I see it. I'm a GIRL, duh, and I love BOTH. I know I'm only 20, but I've seen a lot since JANUARY 3, 1991. I am a BAND member of CHERRY BOMBS. I've got a voice in my head that goes by BOBBIE, and they're 25. I've had them for FOUR OR SO YEARS. They also bother ABBY BURKE AND DREW PALMER, or so I'm told. I love CHOCOLATE, GLITTER, THE COLOR YELLOW, NAPS, SUNSPOTS (IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT IS, JUST ASK), CURLING UP WITH A GOOD BOOK, PEDICURES, AND PUPPIES, and totally hate BEING DUMPED, BLONDE JOKES, NOT BEING TAKEN SERIOUSLY, CATCHING COLDS, HANGOVERS, NEEDLES, AND BEING ALONE. Most people say I'm BRIGHT, BUBBLY, CHARMING, FUN, LOYAL, but I think I'm just the DAUGHTER of EMILY BOONE, A PEDIATRICIAN. I have ONE BROTHER, PETER AND HE'S 23. They think I'm crazy since I've got REALLY BRIGHT BLUE EYES, and sometimes pretend not to know me. My past is pretty complicated, but if you're sure you want to hear it... I guess it's safe to say that I've always been pretty over-protected. My parents only meant to have boys because they didn't have to shelter boys so much. But of course they didn't get to choose that. By the time I came along, they already had one boy, and they'd decided they only wanted two children, so I was the last one. Being both the youngest and the only girl, I guess I was doomed from the start. They kept me in private schools and insisted up on meeting the parents of everyone I spent much time with at all. I wasn't allowed to date until I was seventeen and then they had to approve the guy, and they wouldn't even entertain the possibility of my dating a girl.
I was a pretty good kid most of the time, so I expect you'd think I told them all about the girls I met in the ridiculously expensive private school they sent me to. But something about the way we all got along told me it was too good of a thing to let my parents in on. So I made up excuses to be out of the house every time we had a practice or a gig. That was until they happened to show up at one of the festivals we were playing. Imagine their surprise when their baby girl was on stage playing bass with a bunch of girls they'd never met.... They were pretty mad. But I guess they got over it. That was, of course, until I came home and told them that there was a manager who was interested in helping us make a name for ourselves.
They haven't spoken to me since I left for tour, and it feels really weird. I always thought they were the sort of parents who would be involved in every part of my life. But now I only hear about them from my brother. I tell him everything, though, so I assume he tells them, too. Anyway, I'm pretty excited about this whole touring thing. I've never been to most of the places we're heading, and new is a good thing, right?
