Interview with Abby Burke

[GOSSIP QUEEN]

So, this is my interview with Abby from Dangerous Surrender. It was conducted online. The basis of this was to dispel rumors and set the record straight, but Abby gives us much more than she intended.

Gossip Queen: Thanks for agreeing to talk with me Abby. There have been a lot of rumors regarding your band already. Ones about you and Anna and you and Topher and such. Anything you'd like to say first?

Abby Burke: I'd really like to point out that the only reason there are so many rumors is because you seem to feel like sharing your terminally wrong opinions.

GQ: Haha. I just say what I hear, it isn't just my opinion. For starters, you did have a huge fight with Annabelle during which you told her to leave the band. I see she's still around, does that mean you two have worked through that?

AB: Annabelle's pretty much my best friend. Like the sister my parents forgot to give me. Maybe she annoys the hell out of me sometimes, but I think if we work at it enough, we can probably get through anything.

GQ: How touching. So what about the Topher situation? Is your "sister" threatening to take your man?

AB: If you ever paid any attention to what actually happens instead of the rumors people pull out of their asses, you'd know he's not my man. But I'm pretty sure she's a little preoccupied with the press right now.

GQ: You're talking about Drew Palmer. He's been spotted with Annabelle on several occasions. How do you feel about that?

AB: It's not my business. Annie can jump right on that sinking ship if she wants to.

GQ: Well with "Annie" going after Drew, you can have Topher for yourself.

AB: Are you deaf or just stupid? I DO NOT WANT TOPHER.

GQ: Ah, well, do you plan on getting involved with Oliver West then?

AB: I think I kind of already did that, didn't I? Or don't you read your own gossip?

GQ: I mean, more seriously involved since that was not a ploy for Topher's affection, it must have been for some greater romantic need.

AB: Or some greater physical need? Surely you don't think there has to be a serious emotional basis for everything.

GQ: So West was just sex, does this mean you don't feel a missing emotional void in your life since you are at odds with your band mates and have no real connections outside of that?

AB: Let's talk about how my emotional void is none of your f*cking business. Sound good?

GQ: Are you always so hostile and closed off about your emotions?

AB: Do you always insist on probing subjects that you don't need to know about? All I wanted to say was that Topher and I are not an item. We will not be an item because I have no interest in him. Period. Can you leave it at that already?!

GQ: Fine, you seem to have made up your mind about that. Anything else you'd like to say to my readers?

AB:Yeah. My life isn't actually your business. Try staying out of it for a while. Oh, and feel free to stop by and see us after a show! I promise I'm not mean in real life...
