West was looking at the latest issue of Backstage Magazine by Drew Palmer and was disgusted to see that Annabelle would say that Topher and Abby should hook up. After all, she was in the chatroom when himself and Abby were talking about becoming bunkmates! He couldn't think about it anymore. He felt like everything that happened with Abby was a total joke. West couldn't take it anymore. He had to get off the bus, away from his bandmates. West grabbed his jacket and ran down the steps on the bus. He headed north towards the Lincoln Memorial, jogging the whole way. He felt like he couldn't get away fast enough. When he got there he slowly climbed the stairs to the actual statue of Abraham Lincoln. There weren't a lot of people walking around or taking pictures, so West walked up to the statue and sat Indian-style in the middle of the floor facing him. He took a deep breath and tried to slow his heart rate. After a few minutes, he slowly opened his eyes and wasn't too surprised to see someone he knew. The only surprise was that it was Todd, the band's Tech. West didn't say anything, just closed his eyes again and focused on his breathing.

There wasn't much for Todd to do today, and as such, he decided he'd go out and sight see like a proper tourist. the nice part about being crew for a band was that he didn't get bombarded with fans on the street, or get asked for his autograph when he went out. Which, was sometimes lonely, but mostly a blessing.
Being from Vegas like the band, he's spent more time on the west coast than the east, and having never been to DC. He knew he had a lot of ground to cover. The day before he'd gone to the crime and punishment museum, which was fun and informative for a guy studying to be a cop. Today he was going to walk the mall. He got up early and started at the Washington Monument.
He walked slow, with his hands in the pockets of his jeans. His faded Bruce Springsteen T peeked out from under his black sweatshirt as a cool October wind blew by him. Todd eventually came to the Lincoln Memorial and climbed the steps, trying to remember all he knew about this president when he saw a familiar profile. Oliver West. Assuming the guy wanted to be alone, he walked past him, going to the plaque near the foot of the statue. It was probably a miracle the guy wasn't surrounded yet, so Todd would let him have his peace.
